Kirk’s Wedding Prep

A big thanks to John, Justin, Kevin & Shawn for keeping me company on my wedding day and participating in the most important day of my life. As the hours approach, the gang and I spent time reminiscing about old times and sharing advice on what to do (and not to do) to make marriage work.

It’s great having John here. He’s seen every major accomplishment in my wife and “marrying up” is definitely one of them – I’ve found such an amazing, multi-talented and loving woman in Jenny. Also, I’ve know Justin, Kevin and Shawn since college and we’ve shared some amazing adventures and the typical roller coaster of events that is college and post-college life. Leave it to Justin to show up with nerve-calming beverages. Interestingly enough, I’ve always heard about how nervous some people get before the wedding. Maybe getting married a bit older helps, but I’ve never felt more sure and right about a big decision before. I knew she was the one on our first date, so today is just the validation of that little nugget of knowledge.
