As you may know, my mom is a Gordon and one of six children… This year, Jenny and I headed to Alabama to reconnect with family for Thanksgiving. Vallie & Jeff (my cousins) hosted a fantastic Thanksgiving lunch followed by a second family reunion at my mom’s house on Friday. Needless to say, we had plenty to eat.

This trip was especially exciting since Jenny got to meet all my aunts and uncles (and spouses). We have a big, happy family and there were plenty of stories to go around. This was a great opportunity to connect with many of my cousins; some of whom I’ve not seen in years.
