Kate Loves Outdoor Adventure

by Kirk Pozadzides on November 17, 2011

For every complaint you hear about living through the hot Texas summers, there are benefits. While my collegues in the Northeast are freezing, we’re enjoying 70s-80 degree weather in November. Kate is having a blast and we’re happy to tire her out before bedtime. Below you’ll see a few pictures from two recent adventures to Hermann Park in Houston and Market Street in The Woodlands.

Kate is definately growing up and desperately wanting her independence. It’s difficult to let go when she hasn’t learned what’s acceptable to put in her mouth! Nevertheless, the terrible twos have some redeeming features. Kate absorbs things (and sometimes daddy’s bad words) like a sponge and is developing an impressive bi-lingual vocabulary. Note: When she pats the chair beside her and says sh$t, she is really saying “sit.” And, she didn’t learn that one from me!!! [click to continue…]

Fall Pictures of Kate

by Kirk Pozadzides on November 1, 2011

Its been a while since we’ve uploaded new pictures of Kate. However, the last few weeks have provided several opportunities to snap some pictures. She’s certainly growing, developing a great personality and striking out as a pretty independent (and headstrong) little girl. Kate’s vocabulary is expanding quickly and she’s communicating in both English and Vietnamese. Certainly, Jenny and I are really proud parents, but take a look at these pictures and we’re sure you’ll agree…she’s pretty cute!

A big thanks goes out to our good friends for hosting a Sweet & Sassy party (happy birthday Amber), to our new nanny for teaching Kate how to bake cookies, and to our local elementary school for hosting our neighborhood Halloween bash. [click to continue…]

Kate vs Mac ‘N’ Cheese

May 13, 2011

The Parental Postulate Let’s start this post with the understanding that when picky-eating kids find something they’ll eat… parents select restaurants by their kid’s menu. Note I’m sure there are plenty of child psychologists that will be disappointed in this post, but they should file their complaints in our Diaper Genie. Kate Loves Mac ‘N’ [...]
