What a beautiful day today in Houston! It started out 45 degrees, but reached 73 by the afternoon. It was one of those few amazing days where sitting at home isn’t an option. So, we loaded up the family (Jenny, Kate, Sophia, and Jenny’s parents) and headed out to lunch at one of our favorite Italian restaurants. The patio has waterworks, a fire pit and couches for relaxing. Did I mention a chilled bottle of Pinot Grigio?
Amazingly, Sophia slept for most of our lunch and Kate welcomed everyone in the patio section to “Kate’s play area.” Sophia turns 2 months old next Saturday, so its time to start exposing her to the world! Kate is developing into a social, fun-loving little charm! She is so happy and self-reliant!
I snapped some pictures and hope you enjoy! [click to continue…]

Nevertheless, the terrible twos have some redeeming features. Kate absorbs things (and sometimes daddy’s bad words) like a sponge and is developing an impressive bi-lingual vocabulary. Note: When she pats the chair beside her and says sh$t, she is really saying “sit.” And, she didn’t learn that one from me!!! [click to continue…]
